With reference to your Letter of the 9th Instant, I have it in command to acquaint You, for the information of Earl Grey, that the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury have given Directions for the preparation by the Ordnance Department of the Police Clothing &c: required for the Service of the Government.
and have instructed the Regents General to take the requisite steps for forwarding the same to that Colony.
